This course explains sound abatement membranes as defined by the Tile Council of North America (TCNA), what the membranes will and won’t do, the types of movement joints where these membranes may be installed; and the industry standards and testing requirements that determine the sound rating of a membrane and how this relates to building code requirements will be discussed.
